Do the plates come with the frame?If you purchase our Professional Contractor's Package; the plates listed come with your frame. However, we have found over the years that every contractor and every job is different . . . so, we sell our frames and plates separately in order to allow you to customize your purchase to fit your needs. This also allows you to purchase additional types of plates for your scissor frame at a later time should you need them.
Which plates fit which frame?Our plates are interchangeable between both the Standard Scissor Frame and the Beast™ Heavy Duty Scissor Frame. The Big Dawg™ Scissor frame requires special Super-Duty plates to meet the 6000 lb. load capacity. Take a look at our video on the home page and you can see just how easy it is to change to a different set of plates. Back to TopHow wide will the EZ-SET™ open?The maximum operating width varies depending on which set of plates you are using. Straight Plates: SP-1824 has a minimum operating width of 18" and a maximum operating width of 24" Straight Plates: SP-2430 has a minimum operating width of 24" and a maximum operating width of 30" Boulder Plates: BPS-80 has a minimum operating width of 12" and a maximum operating width of 42" Pipe and Timber Plates: TLP-70 has a minimum operating width of 12" and a maximum operating width of 50" Paver Band Plates: PLP-60 has a minimum operating width of
